Inspection (1.8L)

Inspect cylinder head for cracks and warpage. Measure cylinder head surface in 6 places for warpage. Resurface or replace cylinder head if warpage exceeds specification. Inspect cylinder block deck (surface) for warpage. Replace cylinder block if warpage exceeds specification. See CYLINDER HEAD and CYLINDER BLOCK tables under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
