Action Taken

DERM turns on INFLATABLE RESTRAINT indicator light.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart. For circuit number identification, see WIRING DIAGRAMS.

4) Checks for an open in SENSE HIGH circuit No. 753.
5) Checks whether fault is caused by a short from SENSE HIGH circuit No. 753 to FORCE LOW circuit No. 688, or a faulty DERM.

WARNING: To avoid air bag deployment and injury when trouble shooting system, only use test equipment specified in diagnostic charts.
