Code 22, Steering Column Resistance Too Low (1 Of 2): Description

Diagnostic Energy Reserve Module (DERM) injects a current through steering column from FORCE HIGH output to FORCE LOW output. By monitoring voltage at SENSE HIGH input and SENSE LOW input, DERM calculates combined resistance of inflator module, SIR coil, deployment loop and connector terminal contact in steering column.
