Brake Pedal Height

  1. Brake pedal height is measured from face of brake pedal pad to floor under carpet. See Fig 1 . To adjust pedal height, loosen stoplight switch and lock nut on brake pedal push rod.
  2. Turn brake pedal push rod until specified pedal height is obtained. Height should be 6.2" (157 mm).
  3. Tighten lock nut on brake pedal push rod after adjusting pedal height. Adjust stoplight switch. See STOPLIGHT SWITCH under ADJUSTMENTS  . Tighten stoplight switch lock nut.
