Park/Neutral Position Switch Component Test

Disconnect harness connector at Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch. Switch is located on side of transmission. Using ohmmeter, check for continuity between specified terminals in accordance with shift lever position. See Fig 1-Fig 3 . Replace PNP switch if defective.
