2ND Coast Brake: Inspection

Replace brake band if lining is peeled, discolored or printed numbers are defaced. Before assembling NEW band, soak in ATF for 15 minutes. If band is serviceable but piston rod stroke is not within specification, select a NEW piston. Piston stroke should be .059-.118" (1.50-3.00 mm). Piston rods are available in lengths of 2.811" (71.40 mm) and 2.870" (72.90 mm).
