Hub & Knuckle Assembly: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. When connecting lateral links and strut rod to knuckle, partially tighten bolts and nuts. Lower vehicle.
  2. Bounce vehicle to settle suspension. Tighten lateral link mounting bolts and strut rod nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table. Bleed brakes and check rear wheel alignment. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in WHEEL ALIGNMENT section.
