Chart B, Air Bag Indicator Flashes With Ignition Switch In Acc Or On: Description
When ignition switch is first turned to ACC or ON, system voltage is applied form ECU-B fuse to AIR BAG indicator.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart. For circuit number identification, see WIRING DIAGRAMS.
- Checks to see if junction connector No. 3 is faulty.
- Checks for a short to ground in circuits TC1 and TC2.
- Checks whether fault is caused by a short to ground in circuit TC3 or faulty center sensor assembly.
WARNING:
To avoid air bag deployment and injury when trouble shooting system, only use test equipment specified in diagnostic charts.
