CHART E, DTC's WILL NOT CLEAR: Description
When system voltage is applied to center sensor assembly, it will perform PRIMARY CHECK followed by CONSTANT CHECK. When a fault is detected, center sensor assembly will store a DTC and illuminate AIR BAG warning light.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart. For circuit number identification, see WIRING DIAGRAMS.
- Test confirms proper sensor assembly operation.
- Test determines whether fault is caused by an open in AB circuit or junction block No. 1.
WARNING:
To avoid air bag deployment and injury when trouble shooting system, only use test equipment specified in diagnostic charts.
