Gauge Indicates "H" At All Times

  1. Unplug instrument panel cluster connector C1. Using a DVOM, check resistance between 10-pin connector terminal No. 1 (Yellow/Green wire) and ground. If resistance is not infinite, repair short to ground in Yellow/Green sending unit.
  2. If resistance is infinite, check instrument panel cluster printed circuit for cracks or poor connections. If printed circuit is okay, replace gauge.
