Brake Pedal Height

  1. Brake pedal height is measured from face of brake pedal pad to floor under carpet. See Fig 1 . To adjust pedal height, loosen stoplight switch and lock nut on brake pedal push rod.
  2. Turn brake pedal push rod until specified pedal height is obtained. Height should be 5.7-6.1" (144-154 mm).
  3. Tighten lock nut on brake pedal push rod after adjusting pedal height. Adjust stoplight switch. See STOPLIGHT SWITCH under ADJUSTMENTS  . Tighten stoplight switch lock nut.
