Diagnostic Aids

Any ABS mechanical code that issues a command to illuminate the BRAKE light will also result in DTC A086 being stored in EEPROM during shut down. These DTCs are A042, A046 and A051. If the motors are not in their home position, certain electrical DTCs will also command the BRAKE light on. These DTCs are A014, A016, A018, A055, A064, A065 and A066. If any of these DTCs are indicated along with DTC A086, they must be corrected prior to addressing DTC A086 malfunction.
