Sun Roof Panel Vertical Adjustment

  1. Remove headliner. Unclip sun roof interior trim from sun roof panel, slide rearward and remove from vehicle. Loosen 6 sun roof panel bolts.
  2. To adjust sun roof panel vertical height, remove or add shims between sun roof housing and sun roof panel. See Fig 1 . Sun roof panel should be flush with roof when properly adjusted.
  3. Tighten sun roof panel bolts to 70 INCH Lbs. (7.9 N.m) Slide sun roof interior trim into position. Ensure 2 guide pin slide into interior trim brackets. Clip sun roof trim onto sun roof panel. Install headliner.
