Wheel Bearing
Wheel bearings are sealed and require no adjustment. To check wheel bearing play, raise and support vehicle. Remove rear wheel. Remove brake drum. With dial indicator stem mounted against center (outboard side) of axle hub, measure end play. See Figure . If end play is more than .002" (.05 mm), replace wheel bearing.
