Removal (Audi)

  1. Using Spanner Wrench (44-4), hold clutch hub stationary and remove shaft bolt. Remove clutch plate and shim(s) using Puller (VAG 1719) and Spanner Wrench (3212). See Figure. Remove snap ring.
  2. Place Spacer (VAG 1719/1) in center of pulley cavity. Attach Puller (US 1078) to outer diameter of pulley and remove pulley. Remove snap ring, bearing, and clutch coil as necessary.
