Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Coat camshaft and oil seal with engine oil before installing in cylinder head. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table at end of article.
  2. Adjust valve clearance. See VALVE CLEARANCE ADJUSTMENT under ADJUSTMENTS. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
