Tracker (Gauge Reads "C" At All Times)

  1. Disconnect coolant temperature sending unit connector. Connect a jumper wire between connector terminal and ground. If gauge indicates "H", replace coolant temperature sending unit.
  2. If gauge indicates "C", disconnect 10-pin instrument panel cluster assembly connector. Connect an ohmmeter between connector terminal No. 1 and ground. If more than 3 ohms are present, repair open circuit in Yellow/White wire. If less than 3 ohms are present, check printed circuit for cracks or poor connections. If printed circuit is okay, replace gauge.
