Storm (Gauge Reads "H" At All Times)

  1. Disconnect coolant temperature sender connector. If gauge indicates "C", replace sender. If gauge indicates "H", disconnect 8-pin instrument panel cluster connector. Connect an ohmmeter between terminal No. 1 and ground.
  2. If more than .7 ohm is present, repair open circuit in Yellow/Black wire between instrument panel cluster and coolant temperature sender. If less than .7 ohm is present, check instrument panel cluster printed circuit for cracks and poor connections. If printed circuit is okay, replace gauge.
