Prizm (Gauge Reads "H" At All Times)

  1. Disconnect oil pressure sender connector. If gauge indicates "L", replace oil pressure sender. If gauge indicates "H", disconnect instrument panel cluster connector. Connect an ohmmeter between terminal No. 10 and ground.
  2. If resistance is less than infinite, repair short to ground in Yellow/Black wire between instrument panel cluster and oil pressure sender. If resistance is infinite, check printed circuit for cracks or poor connections. If printed circuit is okay, replace oil pressure gauge.
