Tracker (Fuel Gauge Reads "F" At All Times)
- Disconnect fuel gauge sending unit connector. If fuel gauge indicates empty, replace fuel gauge sending unit. If fuel gauge indicates full, disconnect 10-pin instrument panel cluster assembly connector. Connect an ohmmeter between terminal No. 7 (Yellow/Red wire) and ground.
- If less than infinite ohms are present, repair short to ground in Yellow/Red wire. If infinite ohms are present, check instrument panel cluster printed circuit for cracks and poor connection. If printed circuit is okay, replace fuel gauge.
