Metro (Fuel Gauge Reads "F" At All Times)
- Disconnect fuel gauge sending unit connector located under rear seat. If fuel gauge does not indicates "E", replace fuel gauge sending unit.
- If fuel gauge still indicates "F", disconnect 13-pin instrument panel cluster assembly connector located behind upper left corner of instrument panel cluster assembly. If fuel gauge indicates "E", repair short to ground in Yellow/Red wire between fuel gauge sending unit and instrument panel cluster assembly.
- If fuel gauge still indicates "F", check instrument penal cluster printed circuit for cracks and poor connections. If printed circuit is okay, replace fuel gauge.
