Front Disc Brake Caliper: Reassembly

To reassemble, reverse disassembly procedure. Lubricate piston seal, piston and caliper bore with brake fluid. On Metro, install dust boot with 3-grooved side facing outward. Position piston in caliper so it protrudes .4" (10 mm) out of cylinder end. On all models, install dust boot seal ring. See Fig 1, Fig 2, Fig 3 or Fig 4 .
