Oil Pan: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle. Drain engine oil. Remove right lower engine cover. Disconnect exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold.
  2. Disconnect torque rod at cylinder block and crossmember. Remove flywheel dust cover. Remove support bracket at rear of oil pan (if equipped). Remove oil pan bolts, oil pan and gasket.
