Cylinder Head: Inspection

  1. Inspect cylinder head at cylinder block area for warpage. Resurface or replace cylinder head if warpage exceeds specification. See CYLINDER HEAD table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS at end of article.
  2. Inspect deck (surface) warpage of cylinder block head. Replace cylinder block if deck warpage exceeds specification. See CYLINDER BLOCK table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS at end of article.


Inspect cylinder head at cylinder block area for warpage. Resurface or replace cylinder head if warpage exceeds specification. Inspect deck (surface) warpage of cylinder block head.
