Rod Bearings
- Note direction of connecting rod and cap installation before removal. Connecting rod must be installed in original direction. Ensure bearing oil clearance and side play are within specification. - Rod bearings are available in 3 standard service sizes: I, II and III. These bearing identification marks are stamped on bearing shell and are used to determine bearing thickness. See ROD BEARING SPECIFICATIONS table.
