Removal & Installation (1.8L)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle. Remove oil filter. Disconnect oil cooler lines. Remove retaining bolt, and remove oil cooler. See Figure .
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten retaining bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
