Removal & Installation (Prizm)

  1. Disconnect clutch master cylinder push rod at clutch pedal. Disconnect hydraulic line at clutch master cylinder. Remove clutch master cylinder mounting nuts. Remove clutch master cylinder from firewall.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  at end of article. Adjust clutch pedal height and free play. See CLUTCH PEDAL HEIGHT  and CLUTCH PEDAL FREE PLAY  under ADJUSTMENTS. Bleed hydraulic system.
