Wheel Bearings

Wheel bearings are not adjustable. Check wheel bearing for excessive wear. Raise and support vehicle. Remove wheel center cap and mount a dial indicator to wheel hub center. Grasp tire and apply force in and out. Replace bearing if movement exceeds .016" (.41 mm).
