Valve Lifter: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure components are installed in original location. Coat valve lifter with engine oil before installing. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS at end of article.

CAUTION: DO NOT rotate or start engine for approximately 30 minutes after installing valve lifter and camshaft. Valve lifters must obtain correct operating clearance or damage to pistons will result.
