Storm (Gauge Reads More Than Actual Pressure)
- Disconnect oil pressure sender connector. If gauge reads zero psi, replace oil pressure sender. If gauge reads more than zero psi, disconnect 10-pin instrument panel cluster connector. Connect an ohmmeter between terminal No. 10 and ground.
- If resistance is less than infinite, repair short to ground in Blue wire between instrument panel cluster and oil pressure sender. If resistance is infinite, check instrument panel cluster printed circuit for cracks and poor connections. If printed circuit is okay, replace oil pressure gauge.
