Neutral Safety Switch Adjust: Prizm

  1. Set parking brake. Loosen neutral safety switch at transaxle. Place gearshift in Neutral. Disconnect neutral safety switch connector. Loosen mounting bolts. See Fig 1.
  2. Connect ohmmeter between neutral safety switch terminals. Rotate neutral safety switch to point where continuity exists between terminals. Tighten mounting bolts to 69 INCH lbs. (8 N.m). Reconnect neutral safety switch connector.
