BACKDRIVE Cable (Park Lock Cable): Prizm

1. Backdrive cable is adjusted at bracket, located near gearshift. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove front and rear sections of center console.
2. Ensure gearshift is in Park and ignition is off. Measure clearance at backdrive cable. See Fig 1. Clearance should be .19" (4.8 mm).
3. If adjustment is required, remove cable lock and reposition cable to obtain correct clearance. Install cable lock. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
