1ST & Reverse Brake Piston: Disassembly

  1. Using Spring Compressor (09350-32013), compress springs by tightening bolt gradually. Remove spring retainer snap ring and compressor.
  2. Remove piston return spring assembly. Apply compressed air to oil passage in transaxle case to remove piston. See Figure. Remove piston "O" rings.
