Strut Assembly: Removal
- Raise and support vehicle, allowing suspension to hang freely. Remove wheels. Disconnect brake line from backing plate (if equipped). Remove brake line from bracket on strut. Remove Stabilizer bar link from strut assembly. See Figure . Remove strut assembly mounting bolts and nuts from knuckle.
- On sedan models, remove rear seat back cushion. On hatchback models, remove rear sill side panel. On all models, remove strut-to-body mounting nuts. Remove strut assembly from body.
