Lower Control Arm: Installation

  1. Connect lower control arm to crossmember and partially tighten bolts. Install lower control arm in steering knuckle and tighten bolt and nuts.
  2. Install wheels. Lower vehicle. Bounce vehicle to settle suspension. Tighten lower control arm front mounting bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at end of article.
  3. Tighten rear bracket bolts and nuts to specification. See Fig 1 . Check wheel alignment. See SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in the WHEEL ALIGNMENT Section.
