Hub & Knuckle Assembly: Removal
- Raise and support front of vehicle. With brake pedal applied, remove drive axle lock nut. Remove front brake caliper and wire to frame. Remove disc brake rotor.
- Remove castle nut and separate tie rod end from steering knuckle. Scribe mark identifying lower strut bracket-to-camber adjusting cam for installation reference. Remove steering knuckle-to-strut bolts and nuts.
- Remove bolt and 2 nuts, and separate lower control arm from steering knuckle. Use plastic hammer to drive axle shaft out of hub. Cover drive boot with a cloth to prevent damage. Suspend drive axle shaft to protect CV joints.
