- Park/lock cable is adjusted at bracket, located near gearshift. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove front and rear sections of center console.
- Ensure gearshift is in PARK position and ignition is off. Measure clearance at park/lock cable. Clearance should be .19" (4.8 mm). See Fig 1.
- If adjustment is required, remove cable lock and reposition cable to obtain correct clearance. Install cable lock. To install remaining components, reverse removal procedure.
