Code 25, Short To Battery In Steering Column: Description

DERM grounds FORCE LOW input terminal No. A10, and then monitors voltage at SENSE LOW input terminal No. A6. If voltage is greater than 3 volts, Code 25 will set. Code 25 is an indication of a short to system voltage in steering column, dual sensor or associated wiring. This code can also be set if actual resistance of 100-ohm resistor within resistor module is too high or is open.
