Steering Wheel: Removal

- Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS . Disable SIR system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Remove inflator module. See INFLATOR MODULE . Remove steering wheel retaining nut. Mark steering wheel and shaft for reassembly reference. Using steering wheel puller, remove steering wheel.
