Code 71, EGR Temperature Sensor Circuit (CALIF. Only)

Code 71 indicates that EGR temperature sensor has signaled ECM of a temperature greater or less than calibrated range.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.

ECM should provide 4-5 volts to the EGR temperature sensor.
ECM provides ground for EGR temperature sensor.
