Code 71, EGR Gas Temp Sensor CKT (CALIFORNIA Only)

Code 71 indicates that EGR gas temperature sensor has signaled the ECM of a temperature greater than, or less than, the calibrated range.

1. ECM should provide 4-5 volts to the EGR gas temperature sensor.
2. ECM provides ground for the EGR gas temperature sensor.
