Code 14, IGN Signal CKT, Open Or Short CKT

ECM receives a 12-volt signal from the ignitor on ECM terminal IGF. If this signal is not present 4 times during cranking, Code 14 will set. ECM uses this signal to pulse the fuel injector.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to test numbers on diagnostic chart.

Verifies B+ signal from ECM.
Checks for a short to ground in Black wire.
