Installation (Metro)

  1. Install hub-to-rotor bolts, and tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at end of article. Install and position spacer on hub. See Fig 1. Rotate hub while using plastic hammer to drive hub in until drive axle protrudes evenly from hub.
  2. Using Wheel Hub Installer (J-34856) and Handle (J-7079-2), drive hub and rotor assembly onto drive axle until dimension "A" is reached. See Fig 2.
  3. Install new drive axle nut, and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table. Stake drive axle nut in place. Install disc pads and caliper. Tighten caliper guide pin bolts to specification.
