Rear Brake Shoes: Metro

  1. Drum-to-shoe clearance adjustment is only required when brake shoes are replaced or brake drum is removed for service.
  2. Adjustment is automatically accomplished by depressing brake pedal 3-5 times with approximately 66 lbs. (30 kg) load after all parts are installed. After adjusting brake shoes, check brake drum for drag and brake system for proper operation.
