Rear Wiper Motor: Storm

Remove rear hatch interior trim panel. Disconnect wiper motor 3-wire electrical connector. Using a 12-volt battery, connect positive jumper wire to terminal No. 2 and negative jumper wire to terminal No. 3. See Fig 1 . Motor should operate.

To test automatic park cycle, remove positive jumper wire from terminal No. 2 when wiper arm is in downward sweep position. Reconnect positive jumper wire to terminal No. 1. Wiper motor should operate and then stop at park position. Park position is where wiper arm is aligned with roof molding. If wiper motor does not perform as described, replace wiper motor assembly.
