  1. Unplug wiper motor connector. Using a 12-volt battery and jumper leads, check motor speed operation and automatic park cycle. Connect positive battery lead to terminal No. 1 (Blue/Orange wire) of motor connector. Connect negative battery lead to motor ground wire. Motor should operate at high speed. See Fig 1 .

  2. Connect positive battery lead to terminal No. 2 (Blue/Black wire) of motor connector. Connect negative battery lead to motor ground wire. Motor should operate at low speed.
  3. To test automatic park cycle, connect positive battery lead to terminal No. 2 (Blue/Black wire) of motor connector. Connect negative battery lead to motor ground wire. With motor operating at low speed, disconnect positive lead at terminal No. 2 (Blue/Black wire) so wiper motor will stop with wiper arms in upward sweep position.
  4. Connect another jumper lead between terminals No. 2 and 3 (Blue/Black and White/Black wires) of motor connector. See Fig 1 . Now connect positive battery lead to terminal No. 4 (Blue wire). Ensure motor stops at normal park position. If in any step wiper motor does not operate as described, replace motor assembly.
