Removal (Tracker)
- Ensure front wheels are straight. Disconnect negative battery cable. Pull horn button/center pad assembly from steering wheel contact plate. See Figure . Use cloth-covered, flat-blade screwdriver to pry horn button/center pad assembly from contact plate (if necessary).
- Remove steering wheel retaining nut. Scribe mark on shaft and steering wheel for reassembly reference. Using steering wheel puller, remove steering wheel. See Figure and Figure . Remove contact plate/rear cover attaching screws from back of steering wheel. Disconnect horn wire from contact plate.
