Bearing Replacement

  1. Unstake and remove wheel bearing lock nut. See Figure . Press axle shaft out of axle hub. Press outer wheel bearing race from axle shaft. Remove oil seal from axle shaft. Press wheel bearing out of axle hub.
  2. Grease outer race of new bearing and press into axle hub. Install new oil seal and outer bearing race onto axle hub. Install bearing inner race on axle hub. Press axle shaft into inner bearing races. Install NEW wheel bearing lock nut. Tighten and stake lock nut.
