Hub & Knuckle Assembly: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. When connecting suspension arms and strut rod to knuckle, partially tighten bolts and nuts. Lower vehicle.
  2. Bounce vehicle to settle suspension. Tighten suspension arm mounting bolts and strut rod nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at end of article. Bleed brakes and check rear wheel alignment. See SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES article in the WHEEL ALIGNMENT Section.
