Removal (Prizm)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Drain cooling system. Remove air cleaner assembly. Disconnect accelerator cable, air intake duct, electrical connections and vacuum hoses from throttle body.
  2. Disconnect cold start injector pipe. Disconnect coolant hoses from air valve on throttle body. Raise and support vehicle. Remove brace from lower side of intake manifold. Remove intake manifold bolts/nuts, intake manifold, and gasket.
